Great kale info. I wonder if the massage helps in digestion. Raw kale is tough to digest.

Thanks for sharing, Paul! I've never heard of massaging kale before... definitely going to give that a go next time I eat it.

Cute photo of Skye and happy to hear she is making progress! Looks like she is becoming the official mascot of your newsletter. Maybe it's time for her to have her own Instagram account ;)

Jack, Ill be interested to see how you like it. I have gotten hooked on Kale and the possible combinations are amazing. I have been mixing dill pickle juice or sauerkraut in the massaging process and it makes a great combination.

Yes it can help. When it is massaged hard it is closer to the texture of spinach. Give it a try. Yes. I put it in a one gallon freezer bag with a little olive oil and lemon juice and squeeze it hard and pound it down it down like a dough ball. The lemon juice acidic properties help soften it more if you let it set for an hour. It really turns out soft and is great as a salad base !

Yes. Give it a try Jack. I actually don't use a salad bowl to massage kale. I put it in a one gallon freezer bag with a little olive oil and lemon juice and squeeze it hard and pound it down it down like a dough ball. It really turns out great!
